Aloha Families,
Welcome back, I hope everyone had a relaxing fall break! We are getting closer to our building move in, please make sure to check your emails and the weebly daily for any updates!
Please make sure that everyone is keeping up with their Book It Program reading. Remember Octobers Goal is to read for at least 8 hours for the month. As a reminder this can be accomplished if students read for at least 20 min. a day, however some weekends will be needed as well. Let’s keep reading and earn those pizzas!
This week we will begin learning the Times Tales, this program incorporates right brained visual learning with the use of mnemonics to allow students to not only learn but remember their multiplication tables.
Students will continue to practice their spelling words at home in their spelling journals, they will have a test on Friday October 19th, please make sure students bring their spelling journals back to class on Friday.
We are still planning ahead and seeking volunteers for our schools book fair that will be held in December. If you are interested and able to volunteer please send me an email.
As we continue to gear up for our move the k-5 classrooms are looking to expand classroom libraries. If you have any gently used books that may fit into a k-5 classroom you would like to donate please send them in.
Please scroll down for this week’s virtual assignments. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
