Aloha Families,
Please see the letter below from our Assistant Athletics Director and continue scrolling for this week’s information including this week’s spelling words.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our classroom and I would like to let everyone know that I have recently listed a few new projects on our classrooms Donors Choose site. Please share our site with others, the link can be found here on the right hand side of the page.
Aloha Parents of KCS Elementary Students,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Lauren Labat (or Coach Lo to many students). It is my goal and vision to find opportunities and activities that your students can be involved with here at Kihei Charter School. As Athletic Director I truly believe we have an amazing opportunity to grow as a K-12 school and support one another. We are starting up an KCS Elementary Basketball Team and I am looking for a volunteer parent coach. What the position would involve is:
- Tuesday afternoon games that last about 45 minutes!
- Encouragement and fun attitude for the kids!
- Lots of clapping and high fives!
THAT"S IT!!!! That is all I would need from you! Nothing more! If you are interested in this opportunity please contact me at [email protected].
I will personally be running a basketball clinic through BasketballMAUI on Saturday mornings at 8:00-9:30 (ages 7-9) and 9:30-11:00 (ages 10-13). If your student would like to come to that as well. We would love to have them and give them more tools to achieve greatness in their Tuesday game. More information can be found here:
