2. STEAM Break - Bury a treasure in your yard, at the beach or a park. Create a map so someone can find it. Make sure to include a map key, complete and submit your map by next Monday.
3. Freckle – Select the ELA section, and then the article section. Take the quick assessment, remember to do your best! Once you have completed the assessment spend about 10 min. exploring the ELA section of the program.
Today in class I modeled the Freckle program and covered the expectations. Review the handout with your parents that was sent home today in order to log in and begin using the program.

3. IXL Math – N.3, try and get 20 correct in a row!
4. STEAM Break – Make sure you have completed your map, review Monday’s assignment if needed.
Optional Weekly Assignments
1. Read a short fiction book of choice, once you have read your book create a min-book or comic strip with illustrations summarizing the book. Poster and or comic strips should include color and be presented in your best handwriting.
2. Lots of people solve problems! Doctors make people feel better. Firefighters put out fires. Veterinarians help sick animals. It is their job to solve problems. You can solve problems too! Think of a problem you see around you and that you would like to see solved. This can be a big or little problem, a global or local problem. Now design a solution to the problem you identified.

- On a piece of notebook paper, identify your problem in a short paragraph. Please remember a paragraph is at least 5 sentences.
- Then write your solution to the problem, include as many details that you can and again please write this in a short paragraph form.
