First, complete one lesson on Kid Biz! Read the article on your homepage called “Power Walking.” Complete the first 4 tabs and write a summary in your journal that uses the vocabulary words. Write in paragraph form.
Second, go to THIS Doc and explain about your Andy Goldsworthy Art project plan next to your class number. In the first column, write your plan for your solo (or very small group) project. In the second column, explain your idea for the whole group project. You may paste photos in this column to explain your ideas.
Then, on a white piece of paper, draw a rough draft of your solo project. Bring in any art supplies to class to make your final draft to decorate the classroom!
Third, go to your group’s Makahiki Game Doc and write out your plans and rules. Also gather any supplies you can and bring them in this week or on Tuesday. Be ready to build your game on Tuesday! And start thinking about your presentations for the other classes!
With any remaining time, work on Kid Biz! At the end of each month, lexile levels will change so use these next few days to do as many lessons as you can so you can see improvement (especially if you believe your articles are too low for you!).
Today we will take our decimals test so be sure you know how to add and subtract decimals, place decimals on a number line, and round decimals!
