A big mahalo to the parents and guardians of students who have donated soil, raised garden beds, compost, seeds, gift cards and time to help us create our elementary school garden.
The students are really excited to see what is growing. So far radishes are being harvested, pea and tomato plants are growing as well as two types of lettuce along with a donated pepper plant. We will be adding soil and compost to the new raised beds before Thanksgiving break and will plant after the break.
