Today you have 5 assignments.
First, you will learn about mapping. We will use ReadWorks Digital, which is like the articles we’ve been reading in class. Go HERE and use your Google (kiheicharter.org) account and the class code K7PFQB and then go to Assignments to read about Maps.
- Read all the short articles by clicking on each of the titles.
- Answer the Book of Knowledge question
- Then, in your journal, write a sentence about where you live! Start small (like your room) and go HUGE!
- My example: I live in the master bedroom in a house on Halili Lane, in North Kihei, in Maui, in Hawaii, in USA, on planet Earth! (Can you make yours longer?)
- We will have a Skype challenge with a another class tomorrow so remember what you learned!
Next, read THIS short article and listen to one version of the song Aloha ‘Oe.
- In your journal, on the second half of the page you used above, write a short summary of the article and what you liked about the song you chose. Write at least 4 sentences.
- Read the lyrics and try to learn some of them. We will be learning this song on the ukulele!
