Before you do any of today’s assignments, go to our HAB Table Doc and make sure that your words are all written so that your journalists can make their rough drafts today! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to finish everyone’s on Friday! Just type the Hawaiian word.
First, go to your own Volcano Doc and write a new paragraph about your volcano. This will be a new topic, which you should research from your website or another new educational website.

- Paste the address of any website you use. If you didn't do this last time, make sure you do it today.
- We will write an introduction and conclusion later. This will be a four paragraph essay that we will present at Exhibitions!
- Check over your first paragraph and make sure it is well written and only about ONE topic.
- RESHARE it with me when you have finished! (type my email again and click "Done."
Second, go to YouTube.com and search for a video about your volcano.
- Find an educational video that is LESS than one minute long. PARENTS: You may want to help your students search for this!!
- Copy the website address and email it to me with the subject line “Volcano Video.”
- If you can’t find one, email me and I can help you look. But please try to do this alone.

- We will have an OPEN NOTE test tomorrow based on many of these flash cards. Remember, open note means you can bring in any notes or papers that I have handed out so come in prepared!
