Aloha Parents,
This week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday with lots of activities and fun. If your child has any Dr. Seuss books that they would like to share with the class, please feel free to bring them in (just make sure their name is on the inner cover).
Today is the first day in over three weeks that we have had all of our students in class!! Yippy!! We are going to continue working hard in class to keep the nasty germs at bay by washing hands, wiping down the tables with cleaning wipes, using tissues for our noses, etc. Please watch your student for any symptoms of illness such as fever, stomach ache, ear ache, etc. Hopefully we can keep our students healthy for awhile.
This is also the time of year when we see an increase in uku cases (head lice). With the colder weather comes hoodies, hats, and jackets which can carry ukus and spread them from student to student. You can check out the Hawaii DOE website for more information and tips on how to keep ukus out.
