On Monday, 2/12 we will be making Valentine cards for the residents of Hale Makua. Hale Makua is one of the few nursing homes we have on the island of Maui with two care centers, one in Kahului with 215 residents and one in Wailuku with 75 residents.
We are hoping to bring joy and love to the elderly community of Maui County by performing this simple act of community service.
We are seeking any craft donations that you would like to share with the 5th grade class so we can assemble enough cards to distribute to Hale Makua. Items that we need are card stock in red, pink or white, glitter, Elmer's glue, Valentine stickers or any other craft products you think apply. Thank you in advance, your kokua is very much appreciated.
Mahalo for your kokua in adapting to my absence today.
