CUBES
Students began the CUBES activity in class. CUBES is a way to follow steps to solve word problems. They are to make a poster on regular paper that has a 3D component such as an actual cube. It is to be neat, creative and contain the information below. (students were given notes to take in class)
C - Circle all numbers (and units)
U - Underline the question being asked
B - Box all important key words
E - Eliminate all unnecessary information
S - Solve and check (evaluate)
