- Title a page in your composition notebook "Thinking Like a Real Scientist".
- Spend some time thinking about a question you want to ask that involves plants, animals or life science in which you are interested, such as "Why do moles make holes?" (don't use this one). Write it under the title.
- Develop a hypothesis (an educated guess to your question) and write it below your question. Remember, a hypothesis does not have to be correct as it is only what you think.
- Conduct research to determine whether or not your hypothesis is correct or incorrect. List at least 10 facts about the correct answer to your question. You must list all site URLs (websites) for each fact. Note: there may be more than one fact for each website.
Useful Science Sites (or use your own)
You will continue this experiment later to include the remaining steps of the Scientific Method however don't include them at this time.
Send me an email using proper email etiquette with only the question that you have asked by 3 pm.
You will show me your compostition book on Monday with your question, hypothesis and research (facts).
