Join us for a school wide Ice Cream Social Wednesday November 28th from 5:00 – 6:30pm. There is no entry fee and everyone is welcome. There will be a $5.00 charge per person per bowel however you may buy tickets in advance for $3.00 at the front desk. Come join us and show your support as the school showcases student clubs and teams.
Mark your calendars, Friday December 21, 2018 will be another half day for students before the winter break. I would like to invite the 3rd grade families into our classroom that day for a small classroom showcase and family STEAM social. More details about the event including times will be posted soon.

This Week At A Glance:
This week we will begin to cover multiplication tables not seen in our Times Tales program as well as begin to look at arrays and why we need to know multiplication. While covering this information students will continue to review and learn their tables.
Students this week will continue to learn the writing process to continue composing their personal narrative essays.
We will also begin our social studies yearlong town. We will begin by learning about landforms leading us to learning about early European settler’s and eventually settling into our town.
Weekly Homework
Reading – Students should read at home for at least 20 min. to work on earning their pizza for the month.
Spelling (As Needed) – Practice weekly spelling words, students will have a test on Friday.
***We will have some in class weekly activities to practice spelling, however some students may need additional practice at home. ***
