Aloha Families,
We had a great response to the Book It program last month, let’s try and get 100% class participation for the month of December. With the winter break students will have extra time for reading!
Friday December 21, 2018 will be a half day for students before the winter break with dismissal at 11:15am. There will be NO aftercare that day.
I would like to invite the 3rd grade families into our classroom that day as well, Friday December 21st for a small classroom STEAM social hour from 10:00am – 11:00am. During this time you will be invited by your student to participate in some simple STEAM fun. School lunch will be available during this time for students wishing to eat at school. After our classroom fun, students may leave directly with their parents.
Please remember to secure curbside parking, do not park in the active loading and unloading zone directly in front of the school and please do not park in any other business parking lots as these are solely for their employees and customers. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
Want to get involved with KCS? The PTSA is currently in development. Check out the website for more information at http://kcsohana.org. This is also an amazing site to get connected!
Students will be out of class for winter break from Monday December 24th – January 7th returning to class on Tuesday January 8, 2019.
