Aloha Parents & Guardians,
Here we are in week three of at-home remote learning.
I hope you have all settled into a consistent routine where your student(s) is able to have a positive learning experience. We understand how difficult this time must be for many of you, and just know that we are here to support you. We at Kihei Charter School have arranged more face time for teachers and EA’s to connect with students, as well as a plan for building a positive school culture. Even though we can’t be together, we can still have some fun learning!
Additionally, please let your child’s teacher know if your student has too much/too little schoolwork. They are your first line of communication and will be able to support you by suggesting appropriate learning opportunities, scheduling and offer support that will hopefully make everyone’s life a little easier during this time.
Beginning next week, teachers will begin to mark student’s assignments in powerschool as collected, incomplete or missing so parents will be aware of the status of all assignments. We hope you will find this helpful in tracking work completion. .
Mark your calendars for the week of April 20-24 for Spirit Week!
Pleasefollowthedirections HERE upload or share your photos with your teachers and classmates.
We all miss you very much and hope that you are all safe and well!
