Aloha KCS Families!
It's hard to believe that the first day of school is almost upon us. We are really excited for the start of a great year.
Below are a few "need to know" items for the first week of school.
It's hard to believe that the first day of school is almost upon us. We are really excited for the start of a great year.
Below are a few "need to know" items for the first week of school.
- Drop off/Pick up procedures for:
- Morning and after-school drop off is at the north entrance of the church.
- Do NOT let your child walk across the parking lot unattended. You must either drop off at the curb or walk them in.
- If you walk in to pick up your student, please wait by the red tables only as not to distract the classes that are in session.
- In order to avoid distraction to both teachers and students, please make every attempt to drop off and pick up students at the allotted times.
- Be aware that other classes may begin after you pick up your student, so please have private conversations away from the classroom areas.
- Picture Day will be on Thursday August 10th.
- It will take place while your student is at school.
- They do not have to wear a school shirt on that day, but it must be school appropriate wear.
- Parent Training Sessions
- Please see your student's grade level blog for dates and times.
- Emergency Forms
- These will be distributed by your student's grade level teacher. Please return them to only your student's teacher.
- Your student will NOT be able to go in the field unless they are returned.
- All forms are due the next day that you receive them.
- Leaving Campus (5th GRADE) and KYC (4th and 5th GRADE)
- If your student is in 5th grade and will be leaving campus alone, you MUST fill out this FORM and return it to Mr. Satovich or Ms. Pomai otherwise they will NOT be allowed to leave without someone picking them up.
- Any 4th or 5th grade student that will be attending KYC (Kihei Youth Center) after school will be asked first thing in the morning by their teacher. Please ensure that your student knows whether or not they will attend KYC as we need a head count to secure transportation by the school.
