Our class is in for a treat this year, a high school senior has chosen our class to participate in her senior project. She will be coming into our classroom once a week to begin teaching our students spanish! Students will be introduced to the project for the first time this week on Tuesday afternoon, make sure to ask your student about it. I am very excited and I can not wait to see how students progress over the year!
Last week students studied spelling in the classroom using the Vocabulary Spelling City website. Most students enjoyed this method so I have printed off their log in cards to send home for extra practice as needed. Students can go to https://www.spellingcity.com/ and login in for additional at home practice any time during the week.
The week of October 7th is Fall Break, classes will resume on Tuesday October 15th.
The week of September 30th - October 4th we will hold our first parent teacher conferences. Students in grades K-6 will be dismissed at noon each day that week. There will not be aftercare during this week.
