The first days of school were a great success and we are off to a terrific start to the school year! Many parents came to the grade level orientations and I hope you are all feeling good about the online curriculum that your student will be using this year. Announcement: If your child is planning on riding the MEO bus to the Kihei Youth Center, here are some guidelines:
The MEO bus picks students up at the middle school campus at 2:45. Our elementary school staff will walk students to the bus pick up site across the street.

- Students must be at least 8 years old to participate
- Kihei Youth Center annual pass must be current
- Your child's teacher must know the days that students are riding the bus.

Here are some important dates for the month of August:
- August 12 - Virtual Day for all KCS students. No face to face classes this day.
- August 13 - Elementary School picture day. Picture envelopes will be distributed the week of August 3.
- August 21 - Statehood Day - no classes this day.
