Aloha Parents & Guardians,
It’s hard to believe that the school year is over. It has truly been a whirlwind of a year and I hope that your summer is off to a great (and relaxing) start.
Parents often ask what they can do with their children over the summer to help prepare them for the next grade level. My advice is read, read, read! Children should read, or be read to each day to continue to strengthen their reading skill level and comprehension, vocabulary and foster creativity. Most of the libraries have summer reading programs and I urge you to take advantage of the wealth of resources they offer.
Report cards will be sent by email in the next weeks. School supply lists will be posted soon on both the website and this blog.
We look forward to seeing you all back at school on Monday, August 5.
Have a terrific summer break!
