Below is a message from our PTO regarding Teacher Appreciation Week:
Every year the students show their appreciation to their teachers by doing something special for them each day of the week. This is voluntary and no money is required, just the child’s time and imagination. Through these gestures we show our teachers how much we appreciate them, and value the time and energy they put into our kids!!
Monday: Bring a flower. This could be a hand drawn picture, a collage, a tissue-paper flower, or a real flower picked from your own garden.
Tuesday: Bring a gently used game or book that is age appropriate for your teacher’s classroom, or create an acrostic poem using the letters T-E-A-C-H-E-R or L-E-A-R-N, etc.
Wednesday: Bring in a sweet treat. This could be a piece of candy, a collage or hand crafted masterpiece, or a home grown fruit/vegetable from your garden.
Thursday: Make your teacher a Thank You card for all of their hard work.
Friday: Bring in a favorite family recipe to share with your teacher, or an expo marker to keep our teachers, their knowledge and their lessons flowing.
