Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. In order to honor our very special teachers and all the hard work that they do, the Kihei Charter Elementary School Student Council has provided suggestions to do something special for them each day of the week. This is voluntary and no money is required, just the child's time and imagination.
Monday: Bring a piece of homemade art unique to your teacher or in their favorite color.
Tuesday: Make an acrostic poem for your teacher such as T-E-A-C-H-E-R, L-E-A-R-N, etc or a gently used book or game that is school appropriate.
Wednesday: Bring a healthy treat, collage or hand-crafted masterpiece to your teacher.
Thursday: Make a thank you card for all the hard work your teacher does for you.
Friday: Bring a family favorite recipe to share with your teacher or an expo marker to keep our teachers, their knowledge and lessons flowing.
