Aloha Kihei Charter School Parents & Guardians,
We had a great first week of school meeting new friends, teachers and support staff.
All in all it was a very positive experience for everyone. There were some nerves the first day, but by the end of the week there are lots of smiles and laughter throughout the campus.
We appreciate your patience with the traffic issues during dismissal times. We will continue to watch the flow as KYC and Open Lab open next week and make adjustments as needed.
Important Information beginning Monday, August 12:
Open Lab starts 10 minutes after dismissal Monday through Thursday for students in grades 4-6 in room #208. Students must have school work to complete to be in the lab. The lab is open on a first come first serve basis.
Transportation to KYC also begins on Monday and is for students who:
Students should line up on the sidewalk at the back of campus for van transportation. Students must attend KYC to recieve transportation.
Fourth through 6th grade PE classes will also begin to go out in the field next week so please be sure to have all transportation forms completed. Students will not be allowed to travel in vans without the signed transportaion waiver.
Please join us for the parent meetings next week. All meetings begin at 5:00 pm:
We look forward to seeing you all next week!
