Aloha Parents and Guardians,
There is an update on the schedule for the next two weeks for the elementary students.
Beginning next week we will have access to the 6th grade building. Instead of meeting off campus for an hour or two, we will hold classes for a half day for students in grades k-3. 4th and 5th graders will still go to the off-campus locations this week. Here is the weekly student schedule:
Week one: Monday through Thursday; (Friday, August 10 is a teacher workday).
Parent orientation is on Monday August 6. We will meet in the 6th grade building for the meetings. Plan to fill out the emergency packet that day. If yu cannot attend, email the teacher as soon as you can.
Week Two: Monday through Thursday; (Friday August 17 is a state holiday).
Here is the daily schedule beginning August 7 - my apologies the time in the previous email of 8:00 is incorrect. See below:
9:00-11:30 K-3 grade students
12:00-2:30 4th & 5th grade on Tuesday and Thursday
Here is the two week schedule at a glance:
*We will transport 4th & 5th grade students to KYC if all transportation paperwork has been submitted and the student(s) is a member of the Kihei Youth Center.
Note: some of the grade 4 & 5 off campus field days remain scheduled.
Student should plan to bring their school supplies on the first day of instruction, Snacks and water should be brought each day for classes. Please also dress in your school shirt and PE attire.
We are very excited to be meeting with your students. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Aloha Kihei Charter School Families,
We have been busy planning for the arrival of our students for the upcoming school year. Since we are delayed a bit from the August 6 start date, we have created a blend of virtual and face to face experiences for our students at all grade levels.
Please click here to see the elementary school schedule for the weeks of August 6 - 17. Parents should check this blog regularly in case there are any last minute changes.
We will send out an email communique early next week.
The parent orientations are scheduled for August 6 for the elementary school families. Please check the schedule for your child's grade level meeting. All orientations will take place at the MRTC state building - next to our new campus at the top of Lipoa Parkway.
We are looking forward to seeing you all soon!
